Oklahoma has for a long time been synonymous with Bingo. That’s owing to the fact that the American Indian bands of Oklahoma have operated Bingo games for many years. Clients from many of the nearby states pile in cars and travel to Oklahoma to enjoy Bingo over the weekends.

The 1988 (IGRA) Indian Gaming Regulatory Act became law after a benchmark decree by The U.S. Supreme Court the year prior. From that time, 23 of the thirty nine Native tribes located in Oklahoma have opened gaming halls. The Chickasaw were the 1st Oklahoma American Indian band to take advantage of the gambling restrictions, and today operate ten casinos of their own.
